IDF World Dairy Summit 2008

11-14 November Mexico City

This year's World Dairy Summit is being held in Mexico City from 11-14 November 2008.

Once again, this event will feature a number of conferences spread over three days (12th-14th), including:

  •     Dairy Policies and Economics
  •     Nutrition and Health
  •     Animal Health
  •     Milk Production
  •     Marketing
  •     Nutrimarketing
  •     Dairy Science and Technology
  •     Environment
  •     Dairy Industry Economic Perspectives
FIL-IDF World Dairy Summit & Exhibition Mexico 2008

There is also the popular World Dairy Leaders Forum on November 11th, which presents a discussion by CEO's from the global dairy industry on key issues, including consolidation, sourcing, changing consumer attitudes (amongst others) and you can also pose questions to them face to face. On the same day, there is also a Worskshop on Sampling and Analysis in the Dairy Chain.

One added bonus of the event being held in Mexico is that it has been widely quoted over recent years as one of the countries that still has potential for growth in the marketplace, with the country not only having a low daily dairy consumption per head but also needing to import dairy products to meet its needs, so this is an excellent chance to see what opportunities are available at first hand.
